Bali Bali 2

Bali again! And of course, how could we forget the beautiful castle that was the Ritz Carlton hotel and resort! The beach at the resort was a little disappointing though, and the sea could have been more inspiring.

Nonetheless, we had some very good deals for a one day (USD30 per pax) and half day tour (USD35 including spa and seafood dinner), which came with our very own tour guide and mini van.

Bali Bali

So we have all heard about this magical place. The beaches, booze, bands and bombings. But little did I know that this was also a town (many times larger than Singapore) that was rich in culture and overflowing with skilled painters, sculpturers and carpenters.

End of days

The end of arrmy days, as all 20-something in Singapore knows, is a fantastic cause for celebration. It is more true for me, a married guy in his late twenties still serving his time in the conscripted arrmy, wondering what the hell he is doing at this age and time. While like all good things, bad things must come to end too.....

(Yess, the spelling mistake above in "arrmy" is intentional.)
